Nofollow a link

Setting a link as no follow attribute not only protect your website from spam, also can help to avoid unnecessary page rank flow. It is very easy to set a link with nofollow attribute.

Bellow is method:

you can see your link code in your html file like this:

<a href=”http://www.seo-fans.com/”>Learn seo</a>

then you just need to add rel=”nofollow” in this code

<a href=”http://www.seo-fans.com/ rel=”nofollow”>Learn seo</a>

then this link is nofollow link

you can easily know a link is do follow or no follow by searchstatus tool bar if you use firefox.

    I think this feature has created a lot of confusion. But if the whole idea of no follow is conceptually clear then it will definitely boost your site’s ranking
