I have been in seo for almost one year, it is very necessary that we need some useful tools to check our website seo situation, such as checking indexed pages in google and yahoo, checking pr, checking backlinks, checking your serp (search engines result page) position and so on. Even when we start to set up a website, you need to use some tools to get some good keywords for your website. I  tried many tools such as toolbar for firefox and website page tools. Bellow are some of my suggestions for you:

Number 1—Searchstatus toolbar for firefox

Very good tool that i like most. You can easily check pr and alexa, backlinks and pages indexed in yahoo, google, bing. Showing your website meta information , robots.txt and sitemap information, even you can know a link is do-follow or not by this tool. And still other functions you can get from this tool. I personally rate this tool as the best one, because it is very simple but you can check many useful and necessary information by this tool. Number2—seobook toolbar for firefox

Sorry to rate this toolbar in second position. Just because it owns too many functions , so it is not easy to use it (just my opinion). You can get many useful information from this tool. The best function of this tool is focus on keywords. You can easily know what keywords own how many searches monthly. So if you want to know keywords situation, this toolbar is very helpful for you. Number3—foxy seo tool

With this tool, you can easily know your website traffic situation, and easily submit your web pages to social media websites. You can easily get the information such as ip address, ip neighbors information about your website with this tool. Of course foxy seo toolbar and seobook toolbar both are perfect and more powerful than searchstatus, but i still rate searchstatus as the best one, Just because it is a very simple toolbar but easy to use and can get most of enough information. What is your favorite seo toolbar?
